WILMINGTON, Del. (WPVI) -- Police in Wilmington, Delaware, are investigating after two bodies were discovered inside a home Thursday morning.
Chopper 6 was over the scene on the 1300 block of 7th Street, where there was a lot of police activity in the morning after a call was made around 8:40 a.m.
Details about the disturbing discovery are limited right now.
The bodies were removed from the home around 11 a.m.
Police have not said how or who originally found them, nor what the circumstances surrounding the deaths were.
However, Action News has learned that residents who have been living in a different unit in the building noticed a bad odor and had been allegedly reporting it to the landlord for months.
Those residents also told Action News that it was the landlord who discovered the bodies after conducting a welfare check.
Wilmington police say this remains an ongoing investigation.
